Electromagnetic Field Waves
Book Abstract
Electromagnetic Fields and Waves generally explain the theory and applications of electric and magnetic fields and how they combine to form electromagnetic waves (like radio waves, light, microwaves, etc.). They are commonly used as textbooks for engineering and physics courses. Maxwell?s Equations, Fundamental mathematical laws that describe how electric and magnetic fields behave and interact. These equations are the theoretical basis for electromagnetic waves. Wave Propagation, How electromagnetic waves travel through different media (air, vacuum, dielectrics), including speed, direction, and polarization. Field Theory Fundamentals, Electric and magnetic field definitions, boundary conditions, energy in fields, and related vector calculus. Practical Applications, Transmission lines (used in communication systems), antennas, waveguides, microwave engineering, and guided waves. Mathematical Tools, Usage of vector calculus, wave equations, Fourier methods, and sometimes computational tools to solve real problems.
